Off to N.H.

We're spending a 3-day weekend in the Granite State, hoping to convince them to decide on their primary date already. Actually, we just want to reconnect with old friends Aaron and Amy Reid, and their two dogs, Riley and Miles. Greta remembers all their names and is looking forward to the visit. Hopefully that includes the 280 miles in the car. One way to make it easier would be to buy an in-car DVD player. What do you think? Yay or nay? Weigh in with a comment.

In the meantime, here's a photo from last weekend in D.C., Greta helping Gardner rake his lawn. Looks a little different than she did last year playing in the leaves, huh?

I vote a resounding yes. A DVD player is relatively cheap and it ensures a long period of tranquility in the car.

We purchased the portable DVD player so Ryan can watch his favorite movies, not only in the car, but also at Nana's. Of course, now he realized that the laptop can do the same thing, and he can play his games. You can also look into the Leapster portable, where they can learn from the educational games that they have to play. It also hooks up to the TV (like the playstation, only on a toddler level - Sorry Rob)
